Description

I used my Samsung health app to track my steps this month and I wanted to see if there was a similarity in steps for certain days per week. You can read the portrait by the colors, all the same colors indicate the same day. ie. red is sunday, orange is monday, yellow is tuesday, green is wednesday, blue is thursday, purple is friday, and pink is saturday. Additionally, the bigger the circle, the more steps I took that day. Through the data visualization, you can no longer see exactly how many steps were taken, and also since I had to use a minimum size circle (since the data differences were so vast) you can't see how few steps I took somedays. However, I really like the abstraction and the overlap of the colors. I learned that I consistently walk a lot on sunday. I didn't realize how much I walk, since it's mainly just going to and from class, but I was pleasantly suprised because it's my only form of excercize.
